Kai with my Bob school bag!
Kai looks so cute in my red red uniform. haha.. mummy said that I look like member of some lion troupe. hahaha.. and lunar chinese new year is fast approaching. :p
Mummy has been staying with me in the class for the past 2 days. On the 2nd day, mummy decided to let Kai explore the classroom and be independent as much as possible without intervention. Mummy choose to just watch from a corner. Kai was more at ease on the 2nd day and was comfortable by himself for quite a while before he started to look for mummy. hehe..
As expected, Kai is the youngest in the class. Although you can tell from our faces that I am the youngest, I am as tall as the rest of my friends.. :D Most of my friends are August and September babies whilst there are a few January and February babies. This means that they are almost 1 year older than me! Nevertheless, give Kai some times and I shall be able to adapt to school life just as well too! :D
Mummy would love so much to bring me to school everyday, accompanying me, watching me learning and growing everyday but mummy has to go back to reality, i.e., going back to work by next week. :( Mummy will try to work as efficiently as possible to knock off on time everyday to come back home to hear all the daily juicy and interesting updates from ah ma who will bring me to school everyday from next week. And of course, not forgetting jiejie who is K1 this year! :D
This playgroup is a temporary "warm-up" school for Kai for 1 term where Mummy and papa will observe Kai's progression and readiness before moving Kai to join jiejie's pre-school in April/May where I will be older and ready to take longer hours school days. And we know Kai will be happy and so is jiejie cos we can go to school and come back home together everyday. :D
I will be serious and good in class. hahaha..
I am ready to go.
