He is always asking mommy and papa, “what is the time now?” He can read timing like 1 o’clock, 2 o’clock correctly now. Mommy thought that it is a bit challenging to teach him hours and minutes at 3 and a half years old. However, with Kai’s persistent asking and such high interest, mommy decided to teach Kai by telling him to read the short hand 1st follow by long hand. Instead of memorising 5 time table, we will tell him, when long hand points at 1, it is 5minutes, and when it points at 2, it is 10 minutes and so on… and because Kai likes number so much, he can register it in his mind after a few times of repeating. This will continue for the time being until mommy manages to think of another more effective method to teach time to our 3 and a half years old curious Kai.
Mommy found this picture (taken last Dec) and noted how chubby Kai was at younger stage. He is only growing "vertically" now even though he eats a lot everyday.
