Last week, we went to Ikea to buy 2 new writing tables. One blue and one pink. The existing table is getting too small for both jiejie and me. Many times, mummy finds it tough to allocate the limited space as our books overlap each other as we colour and write. So it is time to make way for new table.
Although Kai is only 2 years and 3 months old, Kai likes to colour and “write”. This is most probably due to influence from jiejie. Kai likes to follow what jiejie does. After Kai completed his “work, he will say, “mummy, come and look… circle” and when he will be so happy when he is being praised! And because Kai loves number so much, he enjoys asking mummy or papa to write the number for him as he read them out one by one.
We are now very happy with the 2 tables standing side-by-side in the room with our own materials on our own table. So much neater. So much organised and most importantly, ample space for Kai and jiejie each when we do our work.
Our tables awaiting for papa to assemble. Before papa does his job, Kai quickly seized the opportunity to test out the newly opened narrow expressway! :p
Kai likes to zoom his car up and down slopes, uneven bumpy "road", "new open road" that he discovers in the house every now and then.
We can find cars everywhere in the house. From dining table to bedroom side table, to writing table, to sofa, to coffee table to the bed...
