We were all in the sister's bedroom cum playroom cum learning room... hahaha...mummy and papa were chit chatting while jiejie was reading a story book and Kai happily arranging number with his number puzzle.
We saw Kai taking "2" and "4" before placing them together and exclaimed "24"! Papa and mummy looked at each other with an unbelievable look! hehehe.. Kai continued to replace "4" with "6" and read "26"! Papa picked up the momentum and continue to replace the 2nd digit with the rest of the number randomly and Kai got everything correctly!
Mummy and papa had definitely not taught Kai number beyond 20. Could Kai have picked it up as jiejie is revising her number? The only most probable channel. Well done Kai!
Kai can also identify and count 1 to 1 correspondence up to 2 now!
Should we try learning 31, 32, 33, 34..... next week?
This is how Kai will raise his hand high up when teacher calls his name when marking attendance every morning! hahaha..
