Kai had a bad ezcema outbreak starting from end November. It didn't get better and got really bad after we returned from Hong Kong trip in late December. His arms, legs and even his neck and face were not spared. Mommy sourced for answers everywhere, look for all possible remedy from internet. We even went to see a determatologist at Paragon. Supposedly to be good and of course expensive. But as mommy has expected, she said it is ezcema and prescribe steriod cream. The cream were cast aside when we reached home.
Mommy continued her search for remedy. Thanks to a support group that mommy found months ago.. We were advised by a herbalist in UK that Kai is facing a severce allergic to dust mite. We ordered her cream from the local support group, followed her advice to cover all pillows, bolsters in anti dust mite zipped cover. And so, we started our twice weekly changing of bedsheets in hot water, hot iron, remove all curtains, remove all soft toys (even non furry), went buying for zipped cover, application of the cream intensively daily for weeks. We perserve and finally see light in early February.
Mommy was so hyper stressed up during that period, seeing poor dear Kai in dry, red, itchy skin. It was so itchy that he scratched them so hard. It was no surprise to see blood stain on his shirt and pants every morning. What a pain! It really broke our hearts. BUT we are really proud of our dear Kai. He didnt fuss. He didnt cry. He was just so cooperative throughout the weeksss, sitting there still letting mommy and ah ma to apply the cream after cream for him 3-4 times a day. He is a warrior!
Silly horrible terrible ezcema, please stay far far away!
