Share Mummy

KAI is beginning to be aware of many things happening around him. He is now aware that sometimes, jiejie is fighting with him for mummy. On some nights, KAI will not let go of mummy. KAI will complain when mummy goes shower, when mummy is with jiejie at the dinner table, when mummy is out of sight. No toys nor his pacifier can make him happy until he is in mummy’s arms.

Sometimes, KAI is beginning to imitate jiejie by crying loudly to fight for mummy. One morning, both jiejie and KAI competed to see who has the loudest cry to win mummy’s attention. Both of them wanted mummy to carry. When mummy picked up jiejie first who was beside her, KAI who was in his baby cot cried even louder (in strong sense of rejection). Mummy wanted to hug KAI badly too but it is just impossible to hold both of us up together (one almost 19kg and one almost 11kg). Eventually, mummy sat down quickly and held both of us together in each lap. At that instance, both still refused to share. However, both stopped crying soon as they find their own comfort in each shoulder. That is the only way to hug and calm down both jiejie and me. The only way to be fair. The only way to end all cries in the early morning. The only way so that mummy is not guilty toward either of us.

Mummy wishes that she has stronger arms to hold both of us up together all times.
“share share mummy. There is only 1 mummy.”

Ps: KAI hit jiejie on her head when mummy carried him over to be on the other lap. KAI was actually angry with jiejie. See.. he is a big boy now who is capable of anger and jealousy. However, he stopped after mummy said “no” and Kai hid his face in mummy’s shoulder. So cute and innocent. KAI just wants mummy. How to not carry and hug KAI tight right!?

Loves Kai's sunny smile and how he put his hands behind his head!

Loves KAI dearly

Loves to see KAI in close up shot!
