In another 6 months, I can blow my 1st birthday candle! Hahaha…
Mummy and papa feel contradicting too. While they really enjoy me in my current state now, i.e. while I chuckle and baby talk so much, while I still enjoy cuddling in their arms, while I still will lie on my baby arm chair without much protest, while I am still so much like a baby(!), hey can’t wait for little Kai to grow up, watch my first crawl, my first step, my first run..
Yesterday, Kai has my first spoon of semi solid food! I have a taste of every baby first food, cereal! I had my brown rice cereal! It tastes good! Mummy and papa are surprised and very glad that I adapt to the feed very well although there were cereal all over the bib when I finished my brown rice. I literally open my mouth eagerly whenever I saw my approaching spoon! Hahaha..
I can see the excitement and happiness written all over mummy, papa and of course my jiejie’s face as they see me eating and of course, the mess I created. Jiejie has a fun time feeding me too!
At 6 months old, Kai is able to turn and flip back and fro skillfully in both directions. I am still learning how to sit up straight. Hopefully I can sit on the baby high chair steadily in a few weeks time. :)
